Police apprehends OGW at Kreeri, Baramulla | KNO

Baramulla, May 19 (KNO): Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested an over ground worker near Watergam Kreeri area of  north Kashmir's Baramulla District. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a joint team of 29 RR, SOG Kreeri and Police laid a naka at Watergam after inputs about the movement an OGW "During naka checking, one person while seeing the naka party tried to flee from the spot who was apprehended by the naka party." The official said that a Chinese pistol, magazine, 08 pistol rounds and a matrix sheet were also recovered from his possession. He identified the official as Waseem Raja alias Jaana son of Ghulam Hassan Para a resident of Takia Taapar. "He the OGW of Hizbul Mujhaideen outfit." SSP Baramulla Ab Qayoom confirmed to KNO that forces have arrested an OGW and a case FIR No. under section 43/2020 has been registered at police station Kreeri. "Further investigation has been taken up."—(KNO)
